First Day of School
5 Jan 10 marked the first day of school for Ryan. As usual, like all parents, we were anxious and looking forward to his first day in school. Wonder whether he would cry and want to go home or he would love the school. I guess we parents at times tend to worry too much. This boy is able to adapt to the environment fast and settle down without parents on the very first day.
We only watched him from a distance and he was not able to see us at all. We are proud of him as he is able to follow the teachers and do the activities as told. Only problem which we faced is he just simply love school and refuse to take off school uniform, shoes, school bag and water bottle when he is back from school.....I guess this is just the extreme from hating to go school. We just have to try explaining to him that you have to rest for the day before you can go to school again tomorrow. That makes him smile and we are glad that he is able to understand things better now.
One thing my hubby did great is to teach him to watch the clock. Surprisingly he understands the timing. He will tell babysitter that it's 915am and get ready to wear uniform and shoes. When it's 925am, he will ask to go down and wait for bus. He is looking forward to bus trips and school daily. When he is back from school, he can take off his own socks and shoes. Ready for bath and take his lunch. Happy for Ryan....truly happy for him.

Growing up....
It's been a long time since my last post. Close friends have been asking about ryan's update. Why didn't u update his blog recently? How's Ryan? No new pictures? Has he grown taller and slimmer? These are some of the questions that people around us care about Ryan would asked... It's so nice to hear from you guys!
Well, Ryan has been doing fine! He is keeping up with his daily activities on Thomas, Barney and hi5! He has also started to answer phone calls whenever the phone rings.. He will start blah blah blah to the caller... God knows what he is telling the caller! But it's so sweet just to see him doing new things, picking up action more adult-like.
He will also be going to Dayspring pre-nursery at punggol 24th ave starting Jan10. We hope he will enjoy company of his new friends and teachers... Lil boy has really grown up... From baby to toddler... Going to school! Yuppie!
